Christopher Columbus High School in Miami held their prom over the weekend. Like most schools, the event had a theme - this year, they went with "Welcome to the Jungle."
To make the event more festive - party planners/school administrators thought it might be a good idea to have LIVE jungle animals present - including a caged TIGER in the middle of the dance floor.
Of course, I can think of a dozen reasons why this was NOT a good idea, and after some public outrage, the school realized it was a bad idea, too. They have since deleted a bunch of photos posted on social media of the students interacting with animals - and apologized for the "incident."
Poor sweetie must have been so scared!!!
