Following the massive popularity of Paul McCartney's episode of "Carpool Karaoke" on The Late Late Show with James Corden in June, CBS aired a primetime special called Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool on Monday night. McCartney and his band surprised regulars at a local bar with an impromptu concert.

Additional songs performed during the special included "Lady Madonna," "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," "I Wanna Be Your Man" and "Drive Your Car." The segment also featured McCartney recounting how he spent nine days in a Japanese prison in 1980 because he had marijuana in his bag. The Beatles icon also admitted that he once told a fan that he wasn't McCartney and told them, "No, but I wish I had his money!"
