“Modern Family” Will Kill Off A “Significant Character” This Season

One of the cast members on Modern Family is getting killed off next season.

Series co-creator Christopher Lloyd told “Entertainment Weekly” that the Dunphys and Pritchetts will be dealing with a family death. He did not reveal who exactly is dying, but said they have a "significant" role in the show and the impact will cover several episodes.
