The yearly Ring of Fire celebration will take place on Conesus Lake at 10 p.m.
Farmington's festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. at 1000 County Road 8 Town Park.
The Geneva American Legion Winnek Post 396 will host a Fireworks and Carnival Festival beginning at 5 p.m. at 1115 Lochland Road in Geneva. Fireworks will start at 10 p.m.
The Arbors Neighborhood in Geneva will host its fourth annual 4th of July Family Fun Parade and Festival. The festival will begin at Ridewood Park at 9 a.m., with the parade beginning at 10 a.m.
Irondequoit is holding a Fourth of July Festival at their Town Hall Campus on July 3 and July 4.
The Rochester Red Wings conclude their homestand with an Independence Day fireworks show after their 7:05 p.m. game against the Syracuse Mets at Frontier Field.
Sodus Point will hold a "Ring of Fire" event at 9:30 p.m. followed by fireworks at 10 p.m. on the Sodus Bay channel pier.
Sweden/Clarkson Recreation will be holding its Independence Day celebration at 4927 Lake Rd. South in Brockport. Festivities begin at 7 p.m., with fireworks at dusk.
JULY 4th
The City of Rochester will again host downtown fireworks on the Main Street Bridge. Musical performances will begin at 7 p.m., with fireworks beginning at 10 p.m. Best viewing spots are the Main Street Bridge, Broad Street Bridge, Chestnut Street near the Washington Square Garage, and streets surrounding those areas.
Sodus Point will hold several events at the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum and Sodus Point Fire Hall.
The Town of Brighton is hosting several events beginning at 8 a.m. with a 5K race at Brighton High School. The majority of activities will be from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Meridian Center Park, 2025 Meridian Center Boulevard.
Canandaigua's parade begins at 10 a.m., and further festivities such as a community picnic and music will be held in Kershaw Park. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:45 p.m.
Chili is holding the annual Chil-E Fest and Fourth of July Celebration from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Chili Avenue. The event will feature music, vendors, a parade, a car show, fireworks, and more.
Fairport holds its annual Fourth of July Parade beginning at 10 a.m. The parade begins at the intersection of Whitney Road and Main Street, proceeds south on West Church Street, and ends at Perinton Park.
The Town of Greece will have several events, including a 5K race at 7:30 a.m., a festival at the Greece Town Hall complex starting at 4:30 p.m., and fireworks at dusk.
The Town of Henrietta is holding its July 4th Celebration beginning at 4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.
Irondequoit is holding a Fourth of July Festival at their Town Hall Campus on July 3 and July 4.
Annual Irondequoit Fourth of July 10K and 2-mile fun run beginning at 7:45 a.m. The races will start at 445 Kings Highway South.
Festivities in the Orleans County Village of Lyndonville will be held by the Lyndonville Lion's Club. An Arts & Crafts Show begins at 11 a.m. and events will be held throughout the town culminating in fireworks at 10 p.m.
The Genesee Country Village & Museum will be having Independence Day activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
BuJazzO, a German National Youth Jazz Orchestra and Vocals. will be performing a free concert at St. Michael's Church on North Clinton Avenue. The event will start at 3 p.m. with a barbeque immediately following the performance.
