Aldi Offering Free Online Wine Educational Course

If you’ve ever roamed the wine aisle at the store with no idea which one to choose, you’re in good company. And now Aldi is here to help with a free wine course.

The grocery store chain is offering the “Aldiploma,” an online “case by case education in wine” that teaches how to identify different types of wines, grape varieties, and understanding food pairings, so you can be the wine buff you always wanted to be.

The course was designed with Aldi’s resident wine expert and “Mistress of Wine,” Sam Caporn, and features six modules to break down what you need to know. It’s supposed to be a fun approach to learning that will boost confidence when choosing wine and debunk complicated wine terminology.

Aldi also advises you sip and savor while you learn and they sell Wine Discovery Cases ranging from around $37 to $46 to help you get the most out of the wine education course. Or you can just pour a glass of your favorite vino and download the Aldiploma for free at Aldi UK’s website.
