Lillie Carolina Akins is only a few months old, and she’s already concert-ready! Thomas Rhett took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of Lillie’s “go to dads concert” look, and fans are loving it.
Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, welcomed Lillie in November. She’s the youngest of four daughters, joining Willa Gray, Ada James, and Lennon Love. Rhett has an adorable growing family, but he and Akins recently confirmed that they wouldn’t welcome another child any time soon. Speaking about the family’s future, Rhett said, per CMT: “I think Lauren and I were really honest with each other and were like, ‘Let’s take a pause for four or five years and kind of get the hang of what this is going to look like… Adoption is 100 percent on our brains in the next four to five years. We would love to do that. It’s been put on our hearts very heavily to do that again; we just don’t know when.”
Until that happens, Rhett is gearing up to release his first of two albums due out this year. Where We Started is set to release on April 1, and fans can hear three songs from the unreleased collection so far. Rhett released “Slow Down Summer” in November, and released two new songs a few days ago: “Angels” and “Church Boots.” Where We Started is packed with 15 new songs, including collaborations with Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, “Home Sweet” singer Russell Dickerson, fellow country singer-songwriter Riley Green, and pop giant Katy Perry. The new album is one that Rhett promises will “give everyone a dose of a little bit of everything.”
