Brett Eldredge teased his next chapter of music with a post on Instagram on Thursday morning (December 26).
The “Wanna Be That Song” hitmaker, who recently wrapped up his latest holiday tour, said he’s been coming up with fresh ideas “to really shake things up” and “push myself” in his forthcoming era. Eldredge wrote in his post on Instagram: “I’ve been thinkin of different ways to really shake things up with my life and Music. Every time I push myself wayyyy out of my comfort zone I feel the most alive…I have done this personally and now musically with what I am about to hit ya with this year…I feel loved and accepted more than ever and I feel empowered to put out music in unconventional ways that many may not expect but I know you are gonna love…there will be multiple different styles and sounds, taking you around the globe with me on a musical journey from beaches, to mountains to evening strolls under city street lights…this is going to be a lot of fun…here’s to the next chapter, coming verrrry sooooon.”
Eldredge previously teased his next album when he recently caught up with Kelly Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Eldredge joined Clarkson for a brief chat after the duo performed “Sweet December,” their latest holiday collaboration together. Eldredge confirmed at that time that “there’s new music” ahead in 2025. It’s set to arrive “right at the beginning of the year, and just really put some fun stuff out there,” he said on the show.
Most recently, Eldredge released Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family), an 8-track Christmas album that includes “Sweet December” with Clarkson. Before that, he released a 10th anniversary edition of Bring You Back, which originally made its debut in 2013, and Songs About You, a 12-track album that arrived in June 2022.
