Soon-to-be free agent NFL offensive lineman Ben Cleveland reportedly filed for divorce from his wife, Kaitlyn Terrell, weeks after his DUI arrest, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports on Monday (March 3).
Cleveland, 26, who spent his first four NFL seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, filed divorce papers citing alleged adultery in Baldwin County, Georgia, on February 28, 16 days after being arrested in the same county. No additional details regarding the cheating allegations against Terrell were disclosed publicly as of Tuesday (March 4).
Cleveland and Terrell, who both attended the University of Georgia, were married on July 21, 2022, and listed their date of separation on or about December 29, 2024, in the court documents. The offensive lineman's recent DUI arrest was not mentioned in the court documents.
Cleveland was cited for DUI and failure to drive within a single lane on February 12, according to a booking report obtained by ESPN on February 17. The guard was reportedly driving a Ford F-250 pickup truck when he was pulled over for failing to maintain his lane in Milledgeville.
Cleveland told an officer that he drank approximately three to four beers at a country club, but claimed he hadn't consumed alcohol within the past two hours of the traffic stop and consented to field sobriety tests, as well as a breathalyzer, which yielded a .178 BAC (blood alcohol concentration), more than twice the state of Georgia's legal limit of .08. The lineman was reportedly detained and taken to jail, where he took another breathalyzer test showing a .161 BAC.
Cleveland was reportedly released from custody in the early morning hours of February 13 after posting a $1,000 bond. The former Georgia standout was selected by the Ravens at No. 94 overall in the third-round of the 2021 NFL Draft and made seven starts in 54 appearances.
