Grammy Award-winning country singer Carly Pearce is set to perform at the Great New York State Fair on Wednesday, August 27. Pearce, known for her hits "I Hope You're Happy Now," "We Don't Fight Anymore," and "Every Little Thing," will take the stage at Suburban Park at 8:00 p.m. Her performance is part of the Fair's Chevrolet Music Series, which features 41 national recording acts this year.
Pearce's journey in country music began at 16 when she left home to sing at Dollywood. Since then, she has become a Grand Ole Opry member and achieved four No. 1 singles. Her latest album, "hummingbird," includes the platinum-certified single "we don’t fight anymore," featuring Chris Stapleton, which earned her a second Grammy nomination.
Fair Director Julie LaFave expressed excitement about Pearce's upcoming performance, saying it will surely draw a large crowd. The Fair, running from August 20 to September 1, offers all concerts as part of the admission price. Tickets are currently on sale for $6.28 during the Star-Spangled Savings promotion, ending July 6. Regular adult tickets are $8, while children under 12 and seniors over 65 enter for free.
The New York State Fair, established in 1841, is the oldest in the United States and plays a significant role in promoting tourism and the Central New York economy.
