Bobby Bones Show Wins CMA Daily National Broadcast Personality Of The Year

Ashley McBryde surprised The Bobby Bones Show this morning (October 11) with a special phone call.

She called to share the show won the CMA for Broadcast Personality of the Year! The show was ecstatic about the news. While McBryde was on the phone, Bobby Bones made sure to ask her about being invited to join the Grand Ole Opry by Garth Brooks. She admitted she had no idea he was going to ask her since she was doing an interview on CBS. They also secretly flew out her mother to be there for the announcement, which made her "ugly cry."

Recently McBryde put out a new project called Ashley McBryde Presents Lindeville, which was originally just meant to be a cool project and then it turned into a record. McBryde and some of her friends noticed they had these different characters pop up in their songs, so they wanted to give those characters' a background story and a life. That's where this project was born and those characters came to life in the songs.
