Disney Released a Line of Adaptive Halloween Costumes

It’s only August, but for kids, it’s never too early to start thinking about what to be for Halloween. And for some who need outfits that accommodate tubes or work well with wheelchairs, the search for the right costume can take longer. But Disney is here to help with it’s first-ever line of adaptive costumes for Halloween, or dressing up anytime.

These costumes come in characters including Buzz Lightyear, Cinderella, and a superhero from Incredibles 2 and they’re designed with:

  • Stretch fabric that opens in back to make getting dressed easier
  • Longer lengths that are wheelchair-friendly
  • Flap openings on the front center with self-stick fabric closure for easy tube access
  • Wheelchair cover sets that transform wheelchairs into the Incredimobile for superheroes or Cinderella’s carriage for the princess

The costumes are available now on shopDisney.com and will be coming to some Disney Parks in the future.
