Starbucks Offering Free Coffee to Frontline Workers This Month

Starbucks is stepping up to bring smiles to frontline workers with free coffee. During the month of December, they’re offering first responders and health care workers a tall brewed coffee (hot or iced) at no charge.

To redeem their freebie, folks only need to identify themselves as frontline workers - no ID required. The coffee giant’s offer includes doctors, nurses, public health workers, pharmacists, dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, police officers, dentists, dental hygienists, mental health workers, social workers, hospital staffers (janitors/housekeeping/security, etc.) and active-duty military members.

This isn’t the first time this year Starbucks has taken care of frontline workers during the pandemic. In the spring, they did a similar coffee offer and so far in 2020, they’ve given away over 2-million cups of coffee. And they’re also giving 50-thousand care packages and gift cards to frontline workers through Operation Gratitude to show their appreciation.
