Reba McEntire, Jelly Roll and Tim McGraw will headline the first-ever Music City Rodeo this spring at Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
The three-day event is the first and only Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo in Nashville. McEntire will perform on Thursday, May 29, Jelly Roll will perform on Friday, May 30, and McGraw will perform on Saturday, May 31, per information announced on Tuesday morning (March 4).
McEntire said in a recorded announcement that offers glimpses of livestock walking along the famous stretch of Broadway honky tonks (and Jelly Roll bartending for incoming cowboys and cowgirls): “Right here in the heart of Broadway, where honky tonk neon meets daredevil grit. Rodeo and country music collide.”
Confirmation of Music City Rodeo details arrive shortly after McGraw posted a teaser on Instagram. The iconic country star hinted at a rodeo performance with the caption: “Feels like forever since we had a rodeo in Nashville……sure would be nice if someone fixed that!!”
“For decades, Nashville’s sound has been the backdrop to rodeos across America. Now it’s time to bring it all home. The Music City Rodeo is more than an event - it’s a celebration of everything that makes country culture the coolest thing around. Across three nights, over 50,000 fans will enjoy two great American traditions while creating an unforgettable experience in the heart of Nashville.”
The Music City Rodeo teases “three nights of guts, glory, and history” made in Nashville. Tickets will be available on Friday (March 7) at 10 a.m.
